All exterior doors in the school are fitted with a secure door entry system which only school staff have access to.  All vistors to the school must arrive via the main entrance and sign in and out at the office.

The school is easily accesible via public transport with the 38, 36 and 42 bus routes running on near by Cumbernauld Road. 

At Carntyne Primary the safety of our pupils is paramount and they are extensively taught about road safety.  The children should be aware of the green cross code; stop, look and listen.  There are crossing patrols in the streets surrounding the school to help your child cross ther road safely.
